App Store

(Apple MapKit)

(Google Mobile Ads SDK / AdMob)

(Apple StoreKit / RevenueCat)

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

App: Airport Passport (the “App”)

Provider: Kawaki Keima (the “Developer”)

Contact: sasamidaifuku@gmail.com

The Developer respects your privacy and handles travel records only to the extent necessary to provide the App. This policy explains how information is handled in the App.

1. Information handled by the App

1.1 Travel records and passport information

The App handles the following information to create stamps, visit histories, shared images, and videos:

  • Visited airport, visit date, and check-in verification status
  • Trip name, notes, selected stamp, photo order, and featured-photo setting
  • Passport issue date and the number of days the App has been opened
  • The travel region selected for free recording and the date of that selection
  • Identifiers used to reference photos in your photo library

These records are stored on your device. When iCloud is available, visit and passport information may be stored in Apple’s private CloudKit database so it can sync between devices signed in to the same Apple Account. The Developer does not view the contents of your private CloudKit database.

Your App Store storefront or device region may be referenced to recommend a free travel region during initial setup. A recommendation is never confirmed automatically; you choose and confirm the region yourself.

1.2 Location

When you choose location-based check-in, the App uses your current location to find a nearby airport. Precise latitude and longitude are not sent to or stored on the Developer’s server.

When a shared image or video is saved to your photo library, the App may attach location data from the original photo or the relevant airport.

1.3 Photo library and photo metadata

With your permission, the App accesses the photo library to:

  • Read photo dates and locations on your device and suggest airports you may have visited
  • Associate photos with a visit and create shared images or videos
  • Save generated images or videos to your photo library

The App does not upload original photos to the Developer’s server. A photo is sent elsewhere only when you choose a destination through the system share sheet.

Shared images and videos are generated on your device. They are not sent to the Developer’s server before you choose to save or share them.

1.4 Maps (Apple MapKit)

The App uses Apple MapKit to display airport locations and obtain map images for JOURNEY MAP videos. Requests containing the coordinates and map area of the airports being displayed may be sent to Apple to retrieve map imagery. JOURNEY MAP uses coordinates from the airport catalog; generating a video does not send your precise current location or original photos to Apple.

See Apple’s privacy policy for information about Apple’s handling of data.

1.5 Advertising (Google Mobile Ads SDK / AdMob)

The free version uses Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display banner ads. Google may process the following information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and improve quality:

  • Approximate location inferred from an IP address
  • Device identifiers
  • Advertising data such as impressions and taps
  • Product interaction data
  • Crash, performance, and other diagnostic data

The App uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) and displays a consent form where required. The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not access the IDFA. Where required, advertising choices can be reopened from “Ad Privacy Settings” inside the App.

When the one-time Pro purchase is active, the App does not request or display ads.

1.6 In-App Purchases (Apple StoreKit / RevenueCat)

The App uses Apple’s StoreKit and RevenueCat to offer, verify, and restore the optional one-time Pro purchase. Apple manages payment processing and purchases associated with your Apple Account. RevenueCat processes purchase history and entitlement status so the App can enable Pro features. The App does not assign your name, email address, or another custom user identifier to RevenueCat.

The Developer does not receive credit card details or other payment information.

2. External transmission and third parties

The Developer does not provide your travel records, notes, or original photos to third parties for advertising purposes.

Information required for advertising may be processed by Google, and information required to verify purchases may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat. If iCloud sync is enabled, visit records may be stored in Apple’s CloudKit. For map display and JOURNEY MAP generation, airport coordinates and requested map areas may be processed by Apple MapKit. Depending on the service infrastructure, information may be processed outside your country or region.

3. Storage and deletion

You can delete a visit from its menu inside the App. Deleted visits cannot be restored. Removing a photo from a visit does not delete the original photo from your photo library.

Device data, iCloud data, and device backups are handled according to iOS and iCloud behavior when the App is deleted. The Developer cannot directly view or delete data in your private CloudKit database.

Images or videos you save or send are managed by you in the selected destination or your photo library.

4. Your choices

You can change location and photo-library permissions at any time in iOS Settings. A Google consent form may appear in regions where advertising choices are required.

You select one free travel region during initial setup. Users upgrading from the original Japan release receive East Asia as their free region. This selection controls where new visits can be recorded; it does not remove or restrict viewing and editing of existing visits, photos, or stamps.

5. Children

Minors should use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The App is a general-audience travel journal and is not designed for children.

6. Security

The Developer works to maintain the quality and safety of the App but cannot guarantee complete security against issues caused by devices, operating systems, networks, iCloud, advertising services, the App Store, or other third-party services.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in law, features, or services. The updated policy becomes effective when it is posted on this page.
